What is it that Alison wants? That question that floored me when it was posed a few years ago.

I had no idea.
As a mother, I had been very clear about what I wanted. My children and our home was my focus.

These days, two years into my experiment of not having a home, I realise I am better at identifying what I don't want, than what I do want. What's that about I wonder? And, then the realisation that we get more of what we focus on. So, if I am paying attention to what I don't want I am more likely to attract that into my life.

My intention this week is to put some time and attention into what I do want. I intend to start with how I want to feel. Not focusing on goals or achievements, or material things, but instead to consider emotions and feelings. And, once I am clear on that I can begin to see the next steps. Well, that's the plan. I'll keep you posted.

Do you know what you want? Are you clear about what matters to you? It may be you already have everything you want. Or, perhaps there are areas of your life that you might like to be different. Are you motivated by material goals, or achievements, or could you too experiment with thinking about how you want to feel?
